Free “First Tuesday” Bluegrass Concert: Full Deck

Join us for April’s First Tuesday concert at the Rancho San Diego Library on April 3rd at 6:30 pm!

This month’s “First Tuesday” is presented by Full Deck. The Full Deck bring a bluegrass sound that’s a mixture of traditional and modern, with a twist that’s all their own.

Free “First Tuesday” Concert: From Beethoven to Broadway

Join us for March’s First Tuesday concert at the Rancho San Diego Library on March 6th at 6:30 PM!

This month’s “First Tuesday” is called “From Beethoven to Broadway”, featuring music on the french horn and piano performed by Bruce and Beverly Dorcy. The Program will be a light-hearted look at some of the most requested pieces from over 25 years of horn-piano concerts and will feature selections from famous composers from Beethoven to Mancini. With interesting dialogue about both the pieces and the composers, this concert will surely have something for everyone to enjoy!

Classical Connections Family Festival: A Live Storytelling & Music Event – May 12, 2018

Join us for the Classical Connections Family Festival: A Live Storytelling & Music Event on Saturday, May 12, 2018!

Classical Connections is presented by the American Academy of Pediatrics, CA Chapter 3’s Reach Out and Read San Diego and Classics 4 Kids. Classical Connections engages the entire family through stories, crafts, and live classical music!

Tomatomania 2018 – March 10 & 11, 2018

Scott Daigre’s Tomatomania® returns with his famous weekend-long sale with heirloom and hybrid tomato seedlings of every size, shape, color, and taste profile. Scott and his staff will provide expert advice and tools of the trade will be available for purchase.

Enjoy tomato-themed refreshments and take a garden docent-led tour of The Garden at 10am (offered both days) where you can get first hand information on the plants and trees growing at The Garden. Free admission!

The event will also feature one presentation each day by Scott:

Saturday, March 10, 11:00am: Starting your tomato seedlings off right

Sunday, March 11, 11:00am: Proper watering and feeding of tomatoes for container and in-ground gardening
