My Therapist Sez: How to Deal With Shame

My Therapist Sez is a monthly event created to give you and your family the tools, resources and space you need to work through life’s difficulties, ask a trained therapist those tough questions and improve your life and relationships.

Each month, we invite excellent psychotherapists and medical doctors to teach on various important life topics and we include time after every presentation for the audience to respond and ask those tough questions.

Some of the many topics we cover include: anxiety, depression, childhood, parenting, addictions, loss, trauma, stress, sexuality, marriage and more. Every presentation is moderated by our counseling pastor and licensed marriage and family therapist, Dr. Don Welch. Meetings take place the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:45 pm in the Worship Center Auditorium. We invite all adults to join us.

Financial Wellness Wednesdays: Understanding Credit Reports, Preventing Identity Theft & Scams

Join the Rancho San Diego Library on March 21, 2018 for a free financial workshop! Presented by San Diego County Credit Union, we will be discussing how to understand credit reports and prevent identity theft and scams. You will also receive tools on correcting inaccuracies in your credit report! The workshop will take place at the Library from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.

Free “First Tuesday” Concert: From Beethoven to Broadway

Join us for March’s First Tuesday concert at the Rancho San Diego Library on March 6th at 6:30 PM!

This month’s “First Tuesday” is called “From Beethoven to Broadway”, featuring music on the french horn and piano performed by Bruce and Beverly Dorcy. The Program will be a light-hearted look at some of the most requested pieces from over 25 years of horn-piano concerts and will feature selections from famous composers from Beethoven to Mancini. With interesting dialogue about both the pieces and the composers, this concert will surely have something for everyone to enjoy!
